Doda administration resolves issues of local labourers/residents stranded outside J&K
DODA, MAY 06: Around100 number of persons and labourers stranded at various locations outside the UT of J&K have contacted the control room established by District Administration Doda, out of which 90 persons were requesting to return back to their respective areas.
They were intimated that the decision regarding movement shall be taken by Nodal Officers to be nominated by different states/UTs as per the protocol or directions issued by MHA.
However, for those who requested for ration and other basic facilities, matter was taken up with the concerned authorities to resolve the issues of those persons who requested for ration and other basic facilities.
It was informed that so far 6794 people/ stranded labourers have approached for provision of the ration and other basic facilities, besides other queries like permission to return back home. The grievances were resolved by the District Administration through control room established in the office of CEO BDA at TRC Sarna Bhadarwah in coordination with authorities of different states/tehsils/ panchayats.
