Mass promotion of students of Classes: 1th to 9th (Jammu Division) and Class 11″(Summer Zone) & (Biannual Private Examination-Winter Zone) falling under jurisdiction of JKBOSE.
Jammu, 7th March: Keeping in view the prevailing extraordinary circumstances of the worldwide spread of COVID-19 and the countrywide lockdown and the academic future of the students, the competent authority has decided to implement the following decisions:
(a) For Classes 1ª to 9th of Jammu Division : All students studying in classes 1* to 9 of all schools (Government as well as Private) of Jammu Division which are falling under Summer Zone and affiliated to J&K State Board of School Education recognized by Government of UT of J&K be promoted to the next class grade for the academic session 2020-21, as a one-time exemption. The Director, Department of School Education Jammu shall monitor and finalize this process of promotion as per the approved norms.
(b) For class 11th (Summer Zone): All the examinees, who were to appear in class 11 Annual Regular examination falling under Summer Zone of Jammu Division (that stands postponed) be promoted to the Hr. Sece. Part II (12), as one-time exemption, subject to the condition that the student has filled in the examination form and has been found eligible to appear in the Annual examination, and a proper roll number slip is issued to him her by JKBOSE.
(c) Class 11 Biannual/Private Examination of Winter Zone of both Division: The examinees who were to appear in class 11 Biannual Private Examination (i) falling under Winter Zone in both the divisions be considered for mass-promotion. provided that such students have duly filled in examination forms as per JKBOSE norms and have been approved by the Board authorities.
