KISHTWAR, JANUARY 10: A team of Geology and Mining Department under the supervision of District Mineral Officer Kishtwar Rajeev Jamwal today seized three vehicles which were involved in illegal extraction and removing minor mineral from Dool Galhar road of district Kishtwar.
DMO seized 03 vehicles including one JCB, one tipper and one Back HOE Excavator under section 21(4) of the Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act. 1957.
DMO Kishtwar said that the Department will not allow such unlawful activities. He further warned that if any person found indulging in illegal mining the Department will take strict action against him under law.
