Moga, February 11: Four members of a family were killed when their car rammed into a truck in Moga district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Rajiv Mittal (48), his wife Manju Mittal (48), son Shubam Mittal (18) and daughter Sunidhi Mittal (21).
The accident occurred at Mehna village on the national highway.
The Mittal family was coming from Delhi when their car rammed into the truck as visibility was very poor due to fog. The truck was standing on the roadside when the mishap took place.
All members of the family died on the spot.
The family was Moga-based and Rajiv Mittal was in the lubricant oil business.
The police have sent all the bodies to the district hospital for post mortem examination. Further investigation was in progress, said police.
