Jammu, June 11: The J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is likely to declare the results of secondary (Class X) annual board examination of Summer Zone (Jammu Province) between June 20 and 25.
JKBOSE chairperson Prof Veena Pandita told The Tribune that evaluation of unevaluated answer scripts by the sub examiners/evaluators from their homes was in progress for declaration of the results on time.
“Going by the present pace of evaluation of answer sheets, I am hopeful of declaration of results of Class X by June 20-25. All examiners are trying their level best to ensure evaluation of answer scripts in a time-bound manner,” Pandita said.
“The coronavirus pandemic outbreak has thrown a great challenge to everyone, but in this crisis we are making sure that there will be no academic loss of students due to a delay in result declaration,” she added.
When asked about the possibility of a release of the date-sheet for the pending examination of higher secondary (Class XII) students, Pandita said: “Our top priority is the safety of the aspirants. The Covid-19 cases are rising in J&K. But still we are trying to declare the date-sheet in a week’s time.”
