New Delhi, June 11: PGI Chandigarh is the second best medical college in the country, next only to AIIMS Delhi, according to the HRD Ministry’s annual ranking. CMC Vellore is at third position.
IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore and IIT Delhi have been ranked as top three institutions.
IISc Bangalore, JNU and BHU have been ranked top three universities.
IIM Ahmedabad is the best B-School; IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta are at second and third spots.
Miranda House is the best college in the country, followed by Lady Sri Ram College; St Stephen’s is at third position. All three are in New Delhi.
IIT Madras is the best engineering college, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay are ranked second and third.
IIT Ropar is the top-ranked higher education institution in the region at number 39; PU Chandigarh is at 44, Thapar Institute of Engineering Patiala at 51, IISER Mohali at 59, and IIT Mandi at 67. With PTI
