Jammu: A programme was organlzed at Model Girls Higher Secondary School Udhampur today on the 13thof July, 2020 in connection with e-inaguration of Projects (Buildings)of Model Girls Higher Secondary School, Udhampur & Higher Secondary School Garh, Dhamma comprising 04 roomed building and 08 roomed building respectively. Both the school buildings were e-inaugurated by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Sh Girish Chandra Murmu J&K UT at 11.30 am along with the Chief Secretary to Govt. Sh BVR Subrahmanyam & Sh K.K Sharma Advisors to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor UT Jammu&Kashsmir & Dr.Asgar Samoon(IAS) Principal Secretary, School Education Department.
Ms. Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education, Jammu, Dr.Arun Manhas, State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha & Purshotam Dutt Sharma, Chief Education Officer, Udhampur along with Principal, Model Girls Hr Sec School Udhampur were present during the e-inaguration at Model Girls Hr Sec School Udhampur.
During the function, the position holders of class 12th, who secured lst position （Science stream), 2nd position(Arts Stream) & 6th position(Science stream) of District Udhampur interacted with Sh K K Sharma Advisor to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor.
They were advised to excel further in studies and life by the dignitaries.
The position holders were also presented Momentos and achievement cards by the Director School Education Jammu & State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha J&K Mr. Arun Manhas.
Further the Ist Ten meritorious students in class 10th of Distrct Udhampur were also honoured with Tablets and achievement cards by the Director School Education Jammu & State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha J&K.
In the function the students were advised by the Director School Education,
Jammu & State Project Director(Samagra Shiksha) to work hard honestly and remain positive to achieve the desired goal in future life.
