Covid-19: Doda administration starts 24×7 Tele medical services in the district

Aimed at to provide medical services to the needy people during ongoing lockdown restrictions

DODA, APRIL 16: On the directions of District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, health department has started tele medicine services in the district to provide medical consultation through telephone/whatsapp/video calls to patients/needy of the district during on-going lockdown restrictions.

Moreover with the start of this service, it will also provide/arrange medicines for those patients suffering from various diseases like cancer, heart problems, renal failure etc. A team of doctors have been deputed to control room at DC office for medical consultation to patients through whatsapp and video call.

The district administration has appealed the public to dial the designated numbers of the deputed staff and avail these services from their respective areas without violating the lockdown restrictions amid Covid-19.

People can avail the services at any time by contacting the deputed medical staff including Dr Adil Hamid 6005812799 (MO) from 8 am-2 pm, Dr Amjad Iqbal 7006471687(MO) 2 pm-8 pm, and Dr Vijay Kumar 7006372068,  8 pm to 8 am.

Covid-19: Doda administration distributes ration kits among needy

4000 kits to be distributed among destitute, distressed in first phase across district

DODA, APRIL 16: District administration under the guidance of District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, has started the preparation of ration kits for distribution among the needy across the district, to ensure that the destitute, distressed and the migrant labourers stuck in the district do not face any shortage of food material during the ongoing lockdown restrictions amid Corona virus threat.

In order to ensure that the kits reach the deserving beneficiaries, it has been decided that the kits would be distributed among the destitute identified by the PRI’s, and BDOs of all the blocks.

District administration has engaged Nodal Officers for the distribution of essential commodities and monitoring of preparation and packing of the kits so as to cater to the needs of destitute and the migrant labourers.

The administration has distributed 297 kits among deserving beneficiaries in various blocks of the district and 54 kits have been dispatched to Bhaderwah and Bhalla for further distribution. The administration will distribute 4000 ration kits among needy in the first phase of distribution.

Doda administration raises mask production

DODA, APRIL 16: District administration Doda under the supervision of District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar D Doifode has raised the production of face masks in the district to combat the spread of Covid- 19.

In its already started initiative of *mask for all* district administration has raised the benchmark by making 11000 masks in a single day. Around 150 tailors roped in for production of masks and about 70 thousand masks have been produced so far and about 50 thousand have been distributed among public.

Moreover, BDCs have been provided their second installment of 1000 masks in each of the 17 blocks of the district and town areas too have been provided, with all the 17 ward members (councillors) of Doda town getting 1000 masks each for their wards, the distribution of which is going on with priority.
