DSEJ’s First Of It’s Kind Literary Workshop Concludes

Jammu: Yet another first of it’s kind initiative by Directorate of School Education Jammu, a 15 day long online literary workshop to improve the writing skills in languages such as Hindi, Dogri, Urdu and Gojri for students, teachers, Masters and Lecturers concluded with a webinar to commemorate the concluding ceremony. Ms. Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education Jammu was the cheif guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Surjeet Singh, incharge Cultural Cell said this workshop was first of it’s kind to be held anywhere in the world for students and teaching staff. He further divulged that many other states have contacted the Directorate Cultural Cell with a desire to hold similar workshops in their respective states as well.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anuradha Gupta congratulated the cultural cell members and the participants for being part of a path breaking initiative. It gave her a sense of satisfaction and contentment to see initiatives such as this one being organized at the Directorate level, touching the lives of many through honest efforts, she added.

The webinar was coordinated by Ms. Monika Khosla, while the formal vote thanks was presented by Mr. Bahrat Bhushan, cheif co-ordinator of the online workshop. Mr. Deepak Sharma provided the technical assistance while Ms. Kirti Thakur, Mr. Ajay, Mr. Vipin Upadhyay, Mr. Gulzar, Mr. Babu Bhatti, Ms. Kavita Dutt, Ms. Rinki Mahajan and Mr. Sohail Wani worked in various capacities and as resource persons to make the initiative a grand success.
