Directorate of School Education Jammu is going to organize a webinar on the topic ‘ Emotional and Behavioural Issues in Children’ on 20/6/2020, Saturday at 11:15 AM for students, teachers, parents of students and other stake holders.
Director School Education Jammu Ms. Anuradha Gupta divulged that the situation created by COVID-19 pandemic and the additional stress on students because of the class 10th result declared a few days back and the 12th class examination result which is to be declared in coming days has necessitated organising a webinar which should cater the mental issues of students and others.
Dr. Deepa Mohan, consultant clinical psychologist and Associate Professor at GITAM university will be the resource person for the webinar and will also take queries from the students and other staff members.
Director School Education Jammu, Ms. Anuradha Gupta said that the webinar is aimed at taking up the issues related to mental health, anxiety, depression, suicide prevention, childhood disorders etc. and providing tips to students, their parents and teachers so as to enable them to tackle the situation in a better and prepared way.
