Chandigarh, January 21: The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday stayed the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT)’s recent order setting aside Dinkar Gupta’s appointment as Punjab DGP.
The court stayed the operation of the CAT order. It also issued a notice of motion to the Centre and the state.
It asked Punjab to file an affidavit on material forwarded to the UPSC regarding each officer.
It asked both the Centre and the state to file an affidavit on restricting the zone of consideration.
