Chandigarh, April 28: A sweet gesture by Panchkula police brought an elderly man to tears on his birthday amid the lockdown.
The man, who is residing alone in Sector 7, was greeted by the local police with a cake on Tuesday.
The cops wished him good health.
The elderly man broke down into tears, and thanked the cops for “making his day”.
The video of the heartfelt moment was shared by the Commissionerate of Panchkula on Twitter.
“Lockdown Birthdays can be special too. We wish Sh. Karan Puri of Sector 7, Panchkula a Very Happy Birthday”, the tweet read.
