Seven new coronavirus cases take J-K’s tally up to 45

Srinagar, March 30: Four coronavirus cases were reported from Kashmir and three from Jammu sub-division on Monday, taking the total number of cases in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 45.

Two of the four cases came from Shopian and two others from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir spokesperson Rohit Kansal said in his second tweet in the day.

“Four more cases detected positive in Kasmir. 2 each from Shopian and Srinagar. All contacts of previous positive cases. Contact tracing working on ground,” the tweet said. 

The new cases are in addition to the three reported from Jammu earlier in the day. 

Kashmir has reported two deaths from the deadly contagion so far.
