Chandigarh, March 30: Chandigarh reported five more cases of coronavirus on Monday, taking the number of cases in the city to 13, an official release by the UT administration said.
Those who tested positive included an NRI couple who are residents of Canada, and three contacts of a 23-year-old man who recently tested positive. The three included the mother of the 23-year-old man.
All of them have been admitted to an isolation ward in GMCH-32.
This takes Chandigarh’s coronavirus cases to 13. The country’s tally meanwhile has shot past 1,000, with 27 recorded deaths.
