Kathua, 13th of Aug,2021:- :- With the aim to continue with series of programme to commemorate 75th Independence day, An online quiz competition based on Freedom struggle was organized under the keen supervision of Chief Education Officer Kathua. Paawan Vivek DRG was moderator of the mega event, Bhupinder Singh Cultural Ambassador and Hardev Verma were the organizers of the quiz.
85 students of different Government and private schools falling under jurisdiction of District Kathua took active participation.
A set of 30 questions including pictures and identification of audio voice of freedom fighters was set up in which Sun Jeet Kour of Little Angel Hr Sec School stood first, Vansh Rajput of Learning Temple school succeed to secure second place whereas Humesh Kumar from Government Higher School Nagri Parole stood third.
Chief Education Officer Kathua presided over the event and encouraged students to take part in co-curricular activities too for harmonious development. The officer ensured to arrange such quiz competition in days to come.
Meanwhile, Dancing, Singing [Patriotic], patriotic poem recitation, painting competitions, cleanliness drives and many such programme on account of 75th Independence Day are being organized by different institutions coordinated by District Resource Centre Kathua under the supervision of CEO Kathua under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahaotsav campaign launched by District Administration Kathua and Directorate of School Education Jammu.
