Kathua, 14 Aug:- With the aim to continue with series of programmes to commemorate the 75th Independence day, an online painting competition was organized under the keen supervision of Chief Education Officer Kathua and Paawan Vivek DRG.
Students from Government and private schools including Higher Secondary Schools,, High Schools, Middle Schools and Primary Schools falling under zone Marheen took active part in the competition.
Master Abi Verma from Govt. Higher Secondary School Chak Kanha stood first, Ms. Muskan Kattal of Higher Secondary School Kote Punnu succeeded in securing second place and Ms. Tanisha from Government Higher School Chann Arorian stood third. Consolation prize at Secondary level went to Ms. Sonia Khajuria of Higher Secondary School Chandwan.
In Middle and Primary level competition, Master Saddam Hussain, Middle School Jogial, Ms.Taniya Sharma Middle School Mukandpur Basti , Master Ashish Sharma Middle School Amala secured 1st 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Ms. Sumiksha Devi of Middle School Rajbagh secured consolation prize.
Chief Education Officer Kathua congratulated all winners especially Teachers and HoIs who took initiatives during corona pandemic and contributed to make the event a mega success. He assured to continue with similar contests in future as well with the aim of providing the students with a platform to display theor skills and contribute in harmonious development of students.
