Militant Killed In Behramgala, Poonch Of J&k
Poonch: A militant has been killed in a joint operation launched by J&k police and Army in Behramgala of district Poonch.
The operation was launched by the security forces on 23th of December after receiving specific inputs about the presense of armed militants in the area.
The militant was killed in the wee hours on 14th December after the contact was established and one AK -47 with four magazines and pouches was recovered from the possession of the slain militant.
According to the sources, the militant opened fire on the security forces in an attempt to escape and was killed in the ensuing gun battle.
