Jammu: A magisterial inquiry has been ordered by the Lt. Governor J&K office to look into the facts and acts of omission and commission in the Hyderpora encounter.
The order has come admist growing resentment and protests against the civilian deaths resulting from the encounter in Hyderpora.
According to the Twitter account of ‘Office of the Lt. Governor’, the inquiry will be conducted by an ADM rank officer in a time bound manner reiterating the Government’s commitment to protect the life of each and every civilian.
