JAMMU, 25th January: Keeping an eye on National Education Policy-2020, the Directorate of School Education Jammu conducted a workshop on Mushroom Cultivation at Girls Government Higher Secondary School Kishtwar, to blend in Vocational training into the school curriculum.
Around 80 students and local unemployed youth participated in the workshop which was conducted by Ms. Humaira Ayoub, District Nodal Officer kishtwar.
Principal, GGHS School Kishtwar, Shri Kishori Lal was the Chief guest on the occasion.
Ms. Humeera Ayub, working as lecturer at GGHS School kishtwar, gave both theoretical inputs as well practical demonstration to all the participants after which a question answer session was held, wherein all the queries raised were satisfactorily addressed to.
Ms. Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education, in her message on the occasion said that the Directorate is continuously reinventing itself and trying to reach out to every single student through innovative solutions and assured that more such workshops and programmes will be held in the future as well for the benefit of the students and unemployed youth in particular and the society in general.
