Preamble Reading Ceremony Organised At CEO Office Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: A Preamble reading ceremony by Chief Education Officer, Udhampur Sh. Arvin Kumar Koul along with all staff members was organized in Office premises today on 26th November, 2021 at 11:00 AM to celebrate Constitution Day, also known as the “SAMVIDHAN DIVAS” marking the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26 November 1949.

The Constitution of India formally came into effect on 26 January 1950 which is celebrated as Republic Day of India. Addressing the staff members, Chief Education Officer Udhampur said that the Constitution Day is being celebrated in India as a tribute to all the great legends who worked tirelessly to give India its Constitution. He also remembered Dr B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, for his stellar contribution and socio-political understanding. He said that the Indian Constitution has given us our rights with our responsibility and duties so he urged every individual to first perform their duties and responsibilities which automatically provide their rights.

Similar ceremonies were organsied in schools and other offices across the district to mark the day.
