CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATED IN SCHOOLS AND OFFICES OF UDHAMPUR

Udhampur: Constitution day was celebrated in all zones of District Udhampur where HOI’s of schools along with their staff members and students organized Pledge taking ceremony program to celebrate Constitution Day, also Known as “SAMVIDHAN DIVAS” marking the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26 November 1949 which came into effect on 26 January 1950.

The events which were organised across schools in the district of Udhampur under the able guidance of the Chief Education Officer Mr. Arvin Kou, were graced by the wisdom shared by the HOI’s of the schools who spoke at length about the Indian constitution.

They students were informed and educated about the Indian Constitution standing for continuity of democracy and integrity of nation.

Talks on Sailent Features of the Indian Constitution, Fundamental Duties was also delivered by staff members and students of the schools.

Total of 544 schools of district Udhampur participated in this event along with 12 offices, (1 CEO and 11 ZEO office).

Staff members participated are 1253 and students participated are 5677.

All participated in this programme with full zeal and verve.
