Udhampur: Chief Education Officer Udhampur, Mr. Arvin Kumar Koul paid surprise visit to Middle School Padanoo, Middle School Chopra Shop and Primary School Padanoo Zone Udhampur inorder to take review of functioning of schools.
During the visit Mr. Koul noticed that Schools were functioning normally.All Staff members were present in the institute and busy with their class work. Mid Day Meal was also served properly to students as per the menu.Schools has been maintained properly having sufficient accommodation toilet/water facilities and kitchen shed etc. Instructions were issued to the staff for making efforts to enroll the kids in Pre primary classes.He also interacted with students of the school and checked the note books of students which seems to be quiet satisfactory.
It was also observed that the boundary wall of Middle School Chopra Shop needs immediate repair for the safety and security purposes.Instructions were issued to HOI to take up the matter with Zonal Education Officer, Udhampur for immediate repair.Further Primary School Padanoo and Middle School Padanoo lack Main Gate as well as Boundary wall of the school. HOI’s of these schools were also directed to take up the matter with concerned Zonal Education Officer for submission of feasibility (Physical/Financial) to this office for further appropriate action.
