Udhampur, 1st june : An online cultural program SANGAM with Dogri lok Geet ,folk dance, dogri poem and patriotic song was organised by the Education Department in schools across Udhampur district.
The program was moderated by Zonal Incharge Cultural cell Zone-Udhampur Rinku Khanna and technical support was provided by Supriya Ma’am
The event was organised on the directions of Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu with the aim to provide a platform to the students to showcase their talent.
The participants included the students of different schools of Zone Tikri and zone Udhampur. The students presented beautiful dance , song items, beautiful dogri poem and patriotic song which were liked by one and all.
The Chief Education Officer Arvin Kumar Koul appreciated the participants and their Escort teachers of Tikri zone ,udhampur zone . and ZICC Tikri Rohit Magotra .Rinku Khanna ZICC Udhampur for hosting the scintillating program.
He also appreciated ZEO’s of both the zones,Principals Headmasters and all the staff of cultural cell Udhampur and Rakesh Singh DICC in particular for having taken such initiatives in the past as well and making the endeavours successful.
