Udhampur: Today on 2nd March, an online cultural program based on dogri songs and dance was organised by the Eduction Department in schools of Udhampur district.This programme was moderated by Mrs.Jyoti Zonal Incharge Cultural cell Zone-Jib and technically supervised by Dr.Dushyant . The event was organised on the directions of Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu with the aim to provide a platform to the students to showcase their talent.
The participants of the programme were the students of different schools of Zone-Jib and Babey who performed dance and songs item . The performances of the students were watched and appreciated tremendously the the viewers.
Chief Education Officer Udhampur Sh.Arvin Kumar koul appreciated the participants along with ‘mentor’ teachers namely Mrs Usha Rani,MrsTania Iqbal,Mrs Bandana Sharma,Mrs.Anjana Kumari ,Ms.Sarika and ZICC Zone-Babey Mr Hushiar Singh Chouhan.
He also appreciated the staff of cultural cell Udhampur and Mr.Rakesh Singh DICC in particular for having taken such initiatives in past as well and making such endeavour sucessful.
