Directorate Of School Education Jammu organizes mega live telecast of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 by PM.

Jammu:Directorate of School Education Jammu organised Live screening of 6th edition of Pariksha pe charcha in almost all the government schools of Jammu Division wherein Prime minister Narendra Modi interacts with the students and gives them helpful tips regarding preparation and handling board examination stress. Pariksha Pe Charcha is conducted by the department of school education and literacy, ministry of education, Government of India.
The main motive behind pariksha pe charcha is to help students in managing the examination stress in a healthy and efficient manner for which honourable prime minister Shri Narendra Modi interacts and shares valuable tips with the students.
A “ Question and Answer” session is also held in which students put up questions to the prime minister and he takes up their queries.
The entire event is broadcast live on Doordarshan and on You tube channel of MoE, Facebook Live and Swayaprabha channels of MoE. Apart from Doordarshan, the programme can be heard on All India Radio, Live web streaming of PMO, Ministry of Education, Doordarshan, My.gov.in. The viewing facility may also be arranged through Edusat and also on internet access devices.
To ensure that each and every student gets the opportunity to draw out maximum benefit by listening to the prime minister, the Directorate of School Education Jammu organised screening of the entire event in government schools for students of class 4th to 12th.
Chief Education Officers coordinated the screening of the event in the schools of their respective districts with main function being held at the CEO Office.
At divisional level, a mega show was organised at the Teacher Bhawan Gandhi Nagar wherein Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma along with Joint Director Mr. H R Pakhroo, Personnel Officer Dr. Rajesh Kumar, CEO Jammu Mr . Suraj Singh Rathore , Deputy CEO Jammu and other officials joined in approximately 700 students to watch th prime minister live.

This was the 5th edition of PM Modi’s interaction with students across the nation on various aspects concerning examinations.

More than 3.5 lakh students, approximately 28874 staff members from more than 8200 schools and 496 specially established centres participated in the initiative. Extreme enthusiasm was seen amongst the students even from the remotest and the most hostile environment condition schools like HSS Atholu Padder, UPS Filler, HSS Nagseni etc. in Kishtwar.

Students appreciated the programme as it really benefitted them before the board exams. They got some handy tips to handle examinations effectively.

Directorate Of School Education Jammu has already initiated many counselling initiatives to help manage the stress of students including examination stress. 
In the coming days mass group counselling sessions as per the counselling calendar of Directorate will be held in schools to  handhold and guide the students.

Pamphlets regarding telecounselling helpline by counselling cell of Directorate of School education Jammu were also distributed so that students undergoing any exam related issue can contact and seek help.
