Bhaderwah June 5 : Unit (07) Bhaderwah and Kishtwar Campuses celebrated World Environment Day at Bhaderwah Campus, University Of Jammu under the patronage of Prof.Rahul Gupta, Rector Bhaderwah Campus.
Dr. Subhash Chander, Head Department English, Bhaderwah Campus and P.O. NSS Unit (07) formally welcomed all the invited guests and the participants. Approximately 40 participants including NSS volunteers and teachers participated in the event.The invited speaker Dr. Jatinder Manhas, Head MCA, Bhaderwah Campus spoke on the topic E-Waste & Environmental Challenges. Dr. Neeraj Sharma, IME, Bhaderwah Campus spoke on the topic Environment Friendly Behaviour.The NSS volunteers asked various questions to the invited experts on the theme of the event.
The NSS volunteers displayed the posters made by them on the theme Only One Earth in the event. This was followed by the the watering of plants inside the premises of the Campus. The event ended with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Sundus Quyoom.
