Udhampur: Schools of district Udhampur organized an awareness programme -‘Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas’ here today, in which staff members and students of various schools along with officials and office bearers participated through online as well as offline mode, under the guidance of their HOI’s.
Awareness lectures on Cyber Safety and measures to safeguard against Cyber Fraud, Blackmail, Data Theft, Cyber Bullying etc. were discussed keeping in view the current digital scenario.
Seminars, webinars, debates, quiz competitions and a host of other activities were organised in schools to aware the students about the dangers and ill effects of the Cyber world.
Along with the negative aspects of the Cyber world, the students were socialized about the positive and gainful possibilities as well.
The initiative was organized under the personal supervision and able guidance of Chief Education Officer, Udhampur, Mr. Arvin Kumar Koul who expressed immense pleasure and satisfaction on the smooth conduct of the activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Koul took the moment to remind everyone about the dangers of a possible 3rd wave of COVID pandemic and asked everyone to not to let their guard down and follow the advisories issued by various arms of the government from time to time.
Pertinently, the events and activities were organised keeping in view the Covid-19 guidelines.
