Students Say ‘NO TO DRUGS’ in Udhampur Schools

Udhampur: To free the certain youth from addiction and substance abuse, as a part of the AZAADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV, Government proposes to intensify the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.

Under this banner NMBA, pledge was taken by Govt/Private schools of District Udhampur on 12th August 2022 to sensitize/educate and aware the students and public against substance/Drug abuse across the district.

All HSS, HS and most of the middle schools took pledge against Drug Abuse as a part of NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAN.

HOI’s of the schools also explained the importance of the pledge to the students and masses and exhorted them to further spread awareness among the masses to take pledge against the Drug abuse which is threat to the vulnerable use and menace to the society.

Counselling cells of schools were also directed to activate the PRAHARI clubs in the schools to keep eye on any such activities within the school premises and say “NO TO DRUGS” in all schools and also follow all the TOEFI guidelines.

Photographs and videos of the pledge/Oath being taken by students are received by this office from various schools and shared with the higher authorities.

Chief Education Officer Sh. Arvin Kumar Koul also took pledge with students and staff of various Govt and Private school which are invited in the premises of HSS BOYS Udhampur.
