Jammu: School of Sciences, Cluster University Jammu in collaboration with Government SPMR College of Commerce organized a webinar on the theme ‘E-Waste Management’ to aware the students, their parents, staff members and the public in general about the problems and challenges that E- waste sprigs up and to kindle in them a sense of responsibility towards environmental issues along with sensitizing the stake holders about safe disposal and successful recycling of such waste.
Dr. Nazia Rasool Latifi, Coordinator, Environmental Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu, presented the formal inaugural address and welcomed the Dean, School of Sciences, Dr. Sanjay Verma, Principal SPMR College of Commerce, Mr. Ranjit Singh Jamwal, staff members, students and other dignitaries.
The keynote speaker, Shri Nagendra Singh, Assistant Manager, Karo Sambhav deliberated on E-Waste recycling and its management.
More than 200 students participated in the webinar enthusiastically and enriched their knowledge on their knowledge on the subject.
The main highlight of the event was the session wherein students and teachers interacted with one another exchanging ideas and amalgamating the shared knowledge.
