Jammu: Today on 15th of March 2022, Principal Secretary School Education Sh. B.K Singh paid a surprise visit to Government Boys Higher Secondary School Bihnah to take note of the day to day working in view of the recent reopening of schools for offline classes after a period of almost 2 years. He was accompanied by Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Additional Secretary ( Education) Mr. Naseer Ahmed Wani , Chief Education Officer Jammu, Shri Suraj Singh Rathore and other officials.
The visiting officials interacted with staff and students of the school and enquired about the functioning of various aspects to ascertain the working of the school. They also inspected the school building, various classrooms and labortories and passed on instructions to the staff members for the improvement and better use of the infrastructure and facilities
Interacting with the students, Principal Secretary Shri B K Singh exhorted upon them to deeply understand the basic concepts of their subjects and work hard towards building a better future.
Speaking to the staff members, he advised them to make the teaching- learning process more practical and amenable by using examples from day to day life which would make it more relatable for the students.
He also asked them to strictly follow all Covid SOPs during their offline classes.
He also asked the staff members to give their hundred percent so that the loss of studies incurred due the covid pandemic could be mitigated.
