Ramban: Department of Sports and Physical Education, Government Degree College Ramban organized First Intra-College Table tennis Men Rolling trophy at GDC Ramban under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The tournament was inaugurated by the Principal of the college Dr Ranvijay Singh, in the presence of all the participants, teaching and non teaching staff of the college. As many as 32 students participated in the event. Danish of 5th Semester clinch the first Intra-college Table tennis rolling trophy title in Men category. Physical Director of the college took this initiative for the students of the college. Later, chief guest Dr Ranvijay Singh along with Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Prof. Satish Thakur, Dr Bharat Singh, Dr Vikram Rathore, Dr Vinod Kumar, Prof Kamaljeet Singh, Prof Ajaz Ahmed, Prof Ankur Dogra distributed trophies among the winner and runner-up players. Consolation prizes & certificates were also distributed among all participants. In his Address, the Convener of the sports committee Prof Vijay Kumar applauded the effort of sports committee of the college for holding the event. He also appreciated the students for their participation in the event. In the final Match Danish beats Mohd Akram by (3-0). The matches were officiated by Haseeb and Danish. The proceedings of the program were conducted by Mr Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director of the college while the vote of thanks was presented by Prof Vickey Rattan.
