Doha-Gayan Programme Held In Government Schools Of District Kathua
Kathua: Today on 26th February, the team of Cultural & Education Cell, Kathua organized an online program on Doha Gayan. The program was broadcasted live on Facebook & is available for offline viewing as well. This programme was moderated by Mrs. Sunita Kumari, Zonal Incharge, Cultural Cell Marheen and technical supervision was provided by Dr. Dushyant . ZICC Marheen Sh.Ashwani Sharma ji and ZICC Hiranagar Sunita Kumari ji , co-ordinated the program .
The program was attended by numerous viewers from Education Department as well as other sections of the society. The participants of the programme were students from different schools of these two zones who sang the dohas in melodious voice.
The performances of Ankush ,Nidhi, Reetika, Veena ,Lalita ,Mansi were watched & appreciated by the viewers. The participants seemed to be well trained & supported by their respective mentors.
Sh.P.L.Thapa, CEO Kathua, appreciated the participants & thanked their respective mentors namely Mrs. Sonia Hans, Mrs. Gargi Jasrotia, Ms. Sapna Khajuria, Mrs Sheetal Sharma, Mrs Kunti Devi and Mrs Anu Bala.
The CEO also emphasized on the role of co-curricular activities as an important part of overall development of students & said that in today’s tumultuous times of stress, disease & restrictions, one needs a tonic of positive entertainment to keep his balances.
He also appreciated the staff of Cultural Cell, Kathua and urged them alongwith all other stake holders to organize such programs in future as well and ensure maximum participation of the students.
He also appreciated Smt Khosla in particular for taking initiatives & making such endeavors a success. He also promised his unconditional personal and departmental support for such programs as they also act as a platform for students to showcase their talents as well as a platform to learn about culture and heritage.
