Jammu : March 31, 2022 , A meeting of Central Executive body of “All J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum was held under the chairmanship of its President, Deepak Sharma wherein the Forum announced Election Authority to hold elections for Plus Two Cadre.
Deepak Sharma said that elections of Forum were long due and could not be held timely due to Covid-19 and same will be held now in the month of may 2022. Central Executive body announced Election authority comprising Sh. Jagdish Manhas, Principal (retired) as Chairman, Pardeep Singh Billowria Senior Lecturer Chemistry as Convenor and Ajay Sehgal , Senior Lecturer Chemistry as Co-Convenor and requested the Election Authority to take further decisions to hold free and fair elections as per the constitution of Forum.
Deepak Sharma appealed the cadre members to fight unitedly for the cause of cadre under the single banner of “All J&K Plus Two Lecturers Forum” which has been spearheading the issues of cadre since 1975.
Consequent upon announcement of Election authority, the President dissolved the whole Central Executive body as well as District Bodies.
Central Executive body however decided that, present Central Executive would continue to exist as interim body under the presidentship of Deepak Sharma till the new body takes over after the elections.
President informed the house that Assured Career progression (ACP) in favour of Plus Two Lecturers and provision of Vice Principal with two advance increments in all higher secondary schools and refixation of ZEOs quota into promotion of HSS principals as per their cadre strength is under active consideration of government.
Forum thanked Principal Secretary BK Singh for resolving so many issues of the cadre and demanded expediting of regularisation of all incharge incumbent/retiree Lecturers including left out Lecturers and other officers including Principals and higher officers pending for want of various reasons in a single go as there is no legal hurdle now and provision of charge allowance at all levels including incharge lecturers.
Forum further hoped that other demands including Removal of pay anomalies of principals and senior officers and Non vacational status to Principals/ Head of Schools, provision of charge allowance in all promotions/placements, restoration of 40% college quota, provision of Earned leave to teaching community and Regularisation of Physical Education lecturers and removal of their pay anomaly will also be acceded to on priority basis.
