Banihal 3rd June 2023.DIET Banihal launches Janbhagidari events and raises awareness on NIPUN,NEP 2020 and G20 with the aim to ensure active participation of all stakeholders in realising the goals and targets of NIPUN Bharat mission. Besides, the main objectives of this Janbhagidari events is to instil a sense of pride among stakeholders about G-20 presidency, the National Education Policy (NEP 2020 ) and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) with focus on Blended Learning.
As a nodal agency of this Janbhagidari events at district level , DIET Banihal organised various sessions to sensitise the HOIs,ZNOs,CNOs,teachers to raise awareness and conduct activities / events on digital initiatives, NEP 2020 and G20 presidency. Virtual meet under the guidance of Smt.Sudesh Principal was organised to orient the Zonal Resource Persons (ZRPs) , Cluster Resource Person (CRPs) and HOIs to ensure the conduct of different types of activities by involving PRIs,VEC,SMDCs, senior citizens and stakeholders. M A Katoch the District Nodal Officer FLN impressed highlighted the importance of conducting these events and impressed upon the ZNOs,CNOs to ensure the conduct of these activities / events in the endeavour of Foundation Literacy and numeracy especially in the context of blended learning”. He also shared the schedule of Janbhagidari events/ activities to be organised from Ist June to 15th June 2023.Principal DIET Smt.Sudesh interacted with Zonal Resource Person, CNOs,HOIs and asked them to conduct events/activities and ensure active participation of all stakeholders. Stress was given on the implementation of the program in letter and spirit in all educational institutions of the district.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Ministry of Education is organizing a series of activities & programs aiming at promoting & endorsing the theme of “Ensuring Foundation Literacy and Numeracy (FLN)” especially in the context of blended learning. Pursuant to this objective, Ministry of Education in partnership with all States & UTs is organizing Janbhagidari events throughout the country to create awareness & generate a sense of pride among various stakeholders like students, teachers, parents & community as a whole, about G-20, National Education Policy & FLN. In this context, on the directions of Director SAMAGRA Shiksha J&K and Director SCERT J&K UT Janbhagidari events programme was launched by Smt.Sudesh Principal DIET Banihal. Lots of activities including pledge taking ceremonies, awareness sessions on G20,activities on FLN, lectures on NEP etc have been organised in all education institutions across district. Thousands of students ,teachers, educationists and stakeholders showed great interest and enthusiasm and took part in these activities. The events will surely motivate the stakeholders to play their role in achieving the goals of NIPUN Bharat and in acquisition of FLN.M A Katoch the DNO FLN said that this event is a step forward to realise the goals and targets of NIPUN Bharat Mission. He requested PRIs,retired teachers, educationists ,SMDC ,VEC members to participate in these activities and play their part in making the future of the generation bright and progressive.
The Janbhagidari event will lead up to the 4th Education Working Group (4th EdWG) discussion in Pune, Maharashtra, from June 19th to June 21st, 2023, and culminate with the Education Ministerial meeting on June 22nd, 2023.
