To promote the languages and Cultural part as an integral part of NEP 2020 , one more digital initiative has been taken by Worthy CEO Kathua Sh. P.L.Thapa by inaugurating the link of District Cultural and Education Cell on the official website of the office of the Chief Education Officer Kathua in the presence of .Respected DEPO Sir , Dy CEO Sir , DRG DICC and staff of the office of the undersigned.Now all the co curricular activities of District Kathua are one click away from the public.
It is pertinent to mention that this initiative is first of its kind and has been taken first of all in Kathua District and with the precious guidance of higher authorities of Education Department of District Kathua, this happened with the whole hearted efforts of Mr. Raman Kant Gupta, Assistant Programmer, CEO Office Kathua .

Speaking on this occasion the officer said that co – curricular activities form an integral part of the Education process and much stress is given on promotion of languages and Culture in NEP 2020 & it is the need of the hour to showcase the these activities on one digital platform so that public can view how students are doing well in all activities alongwith studies and therefore about their all round development. He further added that this year twenty six students from District Kathua represented JKUT in different National level programs of Cultural activities including Kala Utsav at Odisha , National Youth Exchange program at Amritsar and National Balrang Festival at Bhopal.
Sh.Kewal Krishan ji DEPO Kathua and Sh.Chaman Lal ji Dy CEO Kathua also appreciated the efforts of Cultural and Education Cell for finding out the talents among students of District Kathua and also the assistant programmer for updating the site time to time and making it easier for the public to view the initiatives taken by the department .
It is noteworthy that one official Facebook page namely Chief Education Office and DRC Kathua news feed is also dedicated since October 2021 to publicize all Educational activities of District Kathua under the precious guidance and support of higher authorities of Education Department and Worthy CEO Kathua in particular.
Sh.Paawan Vivek DRG Kathua ,Monika Khosla DICC Kathua and all the ZICCs of Cultural and Education Cell thanked Sh.P. L Thappa CEO Kathua for this digital initiative and platform for the talented students of District Kathua .
