Ashok Kumar, Former MLA from Ramban and President Congress Ramban while addressing today at Joint Congress meeting of three blocks (namely Gool, Sangaldhan and Dharam) strongly urged upon the Congress workers to highlight the various development works of Congress during the UPA Government at Centre from 2003-2014 without any fear. Ashok said the Coordination among the party Works and leaders is important to strengthen Congress at grass root level. He said some elements are taking advantage of the Development Works implemented by UPA Government in their own name and indirectly giving electoral benefit BJP party.
In a statement issued, he said that it has become significant to spread the Ideology of Congress i.e. love, Peace, Brotherhood and Communal harmony. It is only Congress which can bring people together in communal harmony from different faith, religion and ethnic groups. This can be a significant development in Highly diverse Jammu and Kashmir.
Ashok further emphasised on the strengthening of polling Booth Committees at grass root level and directed all the workers to fight from the front. He also emphasised upon the formation of youth polling booth Committees. Omkar Singh BCC President Sangaldhan, Mohd. Syed Dar BCC president Gool, Mohd. Zakir Hussain BCC president Gundi Dharam, Mohd. Irfan DCC youth President Ramban, Mukhtyar Ahmed Youth leader, Ali Mohd. Choudhary among other workers participated in the meeting.
