Shanti Yatra” an Initiative of School Education Department under the directions of Director School Education Jammu is continuously spreading the message of peace in all districts of Jammu division starting from Poonch on 09 September 2023. The symbol of peace was today handed over to district Samba by Chief Education Officer Kathua at Kootah More.
Chief Education Officer Samba along with Principals, Zonal Education Officers and their staff and students reached at District Administrative Complex Samba, from where this Shanti Yatra was flagged off by Worthy District Development Commissioner Samba Mr. Abhishek Sharma (I.A.S.)to be taken to various institutes of district Samba to spread message of Mahatma Gandhi ji of following his teachings. The students along with Chief Education Officer, District I/C Cultural Cell, Z.I.C.C and many staff members proceeded with “Shanti Chin” towards vijaypur to keep continue the Shanti Yatra.
