Ashok Kumar, Former MLA from Ramban took stock of vendors in Ramban and strongly urged upon the Director Urban Local bodies to provide permanent business units, clean drinking water and safety measures to various informal vendors of Ramban town.
Ashok has said that the construction of new bus stand in Ramban have resulted in huge unemployment of vendors because of the shifting of location from Ramban bus stand to maitra. It has created huge stress upon the poor vendors of Ramban. Local administration is in deep slumber and doesn’t even care about the poor people.
Ashok has said that the Rs 1600 is being collected through each small scale business unit despite that in return no basic facilities are being provided by the urban local bodies. In a statement, he said that the permanent Business unit should be provided to each vendor in all appropriate locations in Ramban.
Ashok also demanded proper sanitation measures in the surrounding of vendor’s Business units.
