International Labour Day celebrated in various schools of District Doda.

DODA, MAY 01:- International Labour Day, also known as ‘May Day’ was observed at many Schools of District Doda with great aplomb.
May Day honours and celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of labourers and workers.

On the occasion, Chief Education Officer Doda directed all Heads of Institution to celebrate International Labour Day 2024 by performing different activities at School level .

Chief Education Officer Doda in his address said
“It is important to be kind and respectful towards all those who help us daily, we must have gratitude for those who serve us.”

Schools also highlighted that workers must be aware of the opportunities available to them for their welfare and progress.

Students performed mimicked skits and short plays to show their appreciation for those who work hard behind the scenes.

Students were enlightened about contribution of labourers to our society and how they are the key components of the growing economy.

Each child of Class Ist to 10th participated exuberantly to explain that the workers are the backbone of every nation.Students were enlightened about how the contribution of labourers to our society and how they are the key components of the growing economy.

Each student participated exuberantly in activities of the day namely oration, poster making, writing special note of thanks etc. Teachers encouraged students for their participation.

The schools celebrated International Labour Day on the theme ‘Without labour nothing prospers’ to salute the efforts of the labour force. Teachers briefed the children about Labour Day and its importance in the Morning Assembly.

The children expressed gratitude to the helpers like maids, drivers, peons, guards, gardeners, electricians etc. at their homes or on the campus. Tiny tots of the Pre-Primary and Primary section celebrated the day by participating in fun-filled creative activities.
