CEO Rajouri Encourages Staff and Students on Swachhata School Exhibition Day

Rajouri, September 12, 2024 — Schools across District Rajouri celebrated the Swachhata School Exhibition Day today, as part of the ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada initiative. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of students and staff in a variety of creative activities aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental sustainability.

In his message to staff and students, Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Sh. Bishamber Dass, emphasized the importance of cleanliness and its role in shaping a healthy and responsible society. “Swachhata is not just a duty, it is a way of life,” said CEO Rajouri. He appreciated the efforts of students and staff in actively participating in various activities and making the event a success.

The Swachhata School Exhibition Day featured an array of activities including displaying essay written, slogan/poem composition, painting, elocution, quizzes, model-making, and more in the school. Students also showcased their creativity by making artistic dustbins and artefacts using local, recycled raw materials, blending local cultural skills with environmental responsibility. Sh. Bishamber Dass praised these efforts, calling them an innovative way to integrate traditional craftsmanship with modern eco-friendly practices.

The exhibition also provided students with a platform to learn about sustainable waste management, with a special focus on the reuse of materials at home. CEO Rajouri encouraged all participants to carry forward the message of Swachhata not just within the school premises, but in their homes and communities.
