In a bid to promote road safety and responsible driving, a comprehensive Traffic Rule Awareness Programme was successfully conducted at Government Middle School, Chack Gota, on March 11, 2024. The event was graced by the presence of the distinguished Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Lakhanpur, Sh. Subhash Chander.

DSP Lakhanpur addressed the gathering of enthusiastic students, emphasizing the paramount importance of adhering to traffic regulations. He elaborated on various traffic rules, including speed limits, lane discipline, defensive driving techniques, and the consequences of violating these rules.

“Ignorance of traffic rules is not an excuse for reckless behavior on the road,” stressed DSP Lakhanpur. “Understanding and following these guidelines not only protects ourselves but also ensures the safety of others.”

HOI Rukhsana Akhtar expressed her gratitude to the DSP for leading the initiative and educating the students. “Traffic awareness is an essential life skill that empowers our young generation to make responsible choices and create a safer road environment for all,” she said.

The students actively engaged in interactive discussions and asked insightful questions, demonstrating their keen interest in learning about traffic safety. They pledged to use their knowledge to become responsible road users and spread awareness among others.
