Community Mobilization Programme on Student enrollment held at GMS Jasrota, Kathua.

Kathua, 14-03-2024: In an effort to strengthen community involvement and promote enrollment in government schools, a Community Mobilization Programme was organized today at Government Middle School (GMS) Jasrota.
The programme was led by Sarpanch Sudershan Khajuria, who is also the District Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Sr. Gurnam Singh, Headmaster of GMS Jasrota, emphasized the importance of enrolling students in government schools due to their quality education and infrastructure. Khajuria urged villagers to take advantage of the free uniforms, books, mid-day meals, scholarships, and highly qualified staff provided by government schools.

*Sarpanch Sudershan Khajuria remarked “Our government is committed to providing accessible and quality education for all. Government schools offer an ideal platform for our children to excel academically and become responsible citizens.”

*Sr.Gurnam Singh said “We have witnessed a decline in enrollment in government schools in recent years. This programme aims to reverse this trend by highlighting the benefits and opportunities available to our students through government education.”

The guest speakers stressed the significance of community involvement in ensuring the success of government schools. They urged parents to actively engage with the school authorities and provide support to their children’s education.

A documentary showcasing the facilities and achievements of GMS Jasrota was released during the programme to further promote the institution and its commitment to student development.
