Zone Sallan Schools Embrace Rakshabandhan with Joyful Celebrations

Kathua, 17-0802024: Schools across Zone Sallan came alive with vibrant festivities as they celebrated Rakshabandhan, the festival that honors the cherished bond between brothers and sisters. The day was filled with various activities that reflected the cultural richness and significance of this traditional celebration.

 

At Govt. High school Gara Satura and Govt High School Said, the Rakshabandhan festivities kicked off with a heartwarming assembly where students shared stories and the history of the festival, emphasizing its importance in Indian culture. The event was further enriched by a Rakhi-making competition, where students crafted beautiful Rakhis, displaying their artistic talents and understanding of the festival’s values.

 

Over at UPS kouli, UPS Nouni, MS Katli, the students and staff organized a special program that included cultural performances, such as dances and skits, all centered around the theme of brotherhood and protection. The event concluded with an exchange of Rakhis, where students tied them on each other’s wrists,

 

The Zone Sallan Education Department commended the schools for their innovative and inclusive approach for celebrating Rakshabandhan.
