Rajouri, December 18: A three-day Pratham Training program concluded at the CEO Office Rajouri, where 50 Resource Persons (RPs) were trained to further train teachers at the zonal level. The training, aimed at improving teaching methodologies and enhancing student learning outcomes, was coordinated by Shahzad Ahmed and saw active participation from several prominent figures. State Head Dr. Sayed Parveen, Divisional Head Zishan Ahmed, along with team members Mahvish, Shakoor, Suhail Ahmed, Ajay Manhas, Erfan Ahad, Asif Tantray, Irfan Gul, and Mohd Altaf, contributed significantly to the success of the program.
The training also focused on the Hamari Duniya/Our World initiative, designed to enable children aged 11 to 14 to engage with their environment meaningfully. The initiative encourages children to explore and understand their immediate world, starting with observing changes in their local surroundings to grasp broader concepts like climate change and global transitions. It also aims to equip children with critical skills such as scientific inquiry, systematic investigation, logical thinking, and problem-solving through hands-on learning. Moreover, the initiative emphasizes the importance of collaborative learning, fostering teamwork by engaging students in group-based assignments that require design, execution, and completion.
CEO Rajouri, Sh. Bishamber Dass, highlighted the importance of implementing the training outcomes effectively in schools. He urged teachers to utilize the strategies and insights gained during the training to make education more relevant and impactful for students. He emphasized that such initiatives, if properly implemented, have the potential to transform classroom learning and empower students to better understand and navigate the world around them.
The program concluded with a shared commitment among participants to ensure the effective implementation of the training outcomes at the grassroots level, making education in the district more dynamic and student-centered.
