Kathua, 23-07-2024: On the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, GHSS Magloor, located in Zone Sallan, celebrated FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) Day under the Shiksha Saptah initiative. The event was organized under the able guidance of Principal Sh. Narinder Singh ji.
The event kicked off with the Nipun Pledge, where students and teachers committed themselves to achieving foundational literacy and numeracy. This pledge highlighted the importance of these skills in shaping the future of young learners.
Awareness Session on Swayam Prabha Channel
Teacher Mr. Raman Kumar Sharma led an informative session on the use of the Swayam Prabha Channel. This channel provides a plethora of educational resources, and the session aimed to raise awareness among students and teachers about how to effectively utilize these resources for enhancing their learning experience.
Showcasing FLN Initiatives and Programs at ICT Lab
The ICT lab became a focal point for showcasing various FLN initiatives and programs. Attendees were given a comprehensive overview of the tools and techniques being used to promote foundational literacy and numeracy. Demonstrations were conducted to show the effectiveness of these programs in an interactive and engaging manner.
