Poonch January 26th : Poonch Campus University of Jammu marked the 75th Republic Day with a vibrant celebration, where Campus Officer Dr. Rubia Bukhari unfurled the national tricolor amidst the spirited gathering of students, teaching faculty and non-teaching staff. The Director of Poonch Campus, Prof. Rakesh Vaid, extended warm congratulations to all on the eve of this historic day.
The ceremony, witnessed a patriotic fervor as Dr. Rubia Bukhari, adorned in the national tricolor, hoisted the flag, symbolizing the essence of unity and freedom. The event took place in the presence of an enthusiastic crowd, reflecting the diverse and inclusive spirit of the campus community. The Unfurling of tricolour was followed by the National Anthem by the students of the Department of Sericulture, Poonch Campus.

Present on the occasion includes; Dr Jyoty Angotra, Dr Palvi Sharma, Ms Kalpna Sudan, Mr Sahil Choudhary, Mr Mohd Arshad, Mr Mohd Sagheer, Mr Sandeep Kumar and Mr Arjun.
Later the students of the Department of Sericulture, Poonch Campus presented a colourful cultural program at the Republic Day celebrations organized by the district administration Poonch at Sports Stadium Poonch.
