GMS Pathwal School recently organized an educational tour to Haria Chack Nursery for students, emphasizing the maxim that “Education is the greatest treasure of all”. Staff members of the school accompanied the students on this enlightening journey, which focused on hands-on learning about plant growth and environmental conservation.

At Haria Chack Nursery, students learned the process of growing plants from seeds and cuttings, transplanting into bigger pots, and the essentials of plant care including fertilizing, weeding, and watering. The diverse variety of plants sparked curiosity among the students, leading to an enthusiastic exchange of knowledge and ideas.

The field trip served as a fun, interactive way to highlight the importance of preserving our environment and the crucial role of plants and trees. In a time when urbanization, industrialization, and global warming pose significant challenges, it is paramount that our future generations are educated and aware of the cause.

The students enjoyed a day of learning and exploration, complete with lunch and refreshments. The tour was guided by Mr. Amol Sharma, a teacher at GMS Pathwal, under the able guidance of the Head of Institution, Mrs. Sonika Sharma, and overseen by Mr. Ram Lal, ZEO Sallan.
