Kathua, 26-07-2024: On the occasion of the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas, a commemorative program was held at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Bani, under the aegis of the school’s NSS Unit.
Led by Incharge PrincipalMrs. Kulwant Kumari and NSS Programme Officer Mr Narinder Kumar, the event saw the active collaboration of the Cultural and Coordination Cell, Bani, including Girls High School, Holy Hut Public High School, and Shiv Shakti Bright Candle Public School.
The chief guest for the mega event was SDM Bani, Mr Gais-Ul-Haq, while Tehsildar Bani, Mr Predhyum Atri graced the occasion as the guest of honour. Senior Lecturer and District Coordinator Eco Club, Mr Des Raj Sharma, along with esteemed faculty members, police personnel, and locals participated in the event.
Various activities were organized to honour the valiant soldiers who fought bravely during the Kargil conflict, including wreath-laying ceremonies, patriotic song and dance performances, folk dances, and speeches.
The program served as a testament to the undying spirit of the Indian Armed Forces and their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. It not only celebrated the victory but also paid homage to the sacrifices made by theBraveheartss who defended the motherland.
