Kathua: In a commendable effort to raise awareness about environmental conservation, GHSS Chhan Rorian organized a painting competition centred around the theme of “Ban on Single-Use Plastic.”
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who used their artistic skills to convey a powerful message.
Under the able guidance of esteemed Principal, Mr. Subash Chander, the school premises buzzed with creativity and passion. The event aimed to encourage students to express their thoughts on the harmful effects of single-use plastic through the medium of art.
Principal Shri Subash Chander addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of reducing plastic usage. He stated, “Our responsibility extends beyond the classroom. By organizing events like this, we empower our students to become eco-conscious citizens who actively contribute to a cleaner and greener planet.”
The judges had a tough time selecting the winners, as each painting conveyed a unique perspective.
