Today on 28.06.24, Chief Education Officer Udhampur Ms. Geetu Bangotra accompanied by Assistant Director Planning Darshan Sharma attended a public Darbar held at Kaghote and then inspected Govt. HS Dehari, where it was observed that the school has not adhered to the instructions issued by Worthy DSEJ regarding clubbed schools and enrollment, till date. The same was also not brought to the notice of Worthy DSEJ by concerned ZEO Ramnagar as well as concerned Cluster Head who had also attended the DSEJ’s meeting held at CEO office Udhampur recently.
After that she went on to inspect the office of Zonal Education Officer Ramnagar, where ZEO Ramnagar and DEO Mr. Abhinav were found absent. Both absentees were present at Public Darbar held at Kaghote at 11am but after that they left the venue of public Darbar without intimation to Chief Education Officer and found missing in their respective office till 4.30 pm. For such delinquent behaviour and dereliction of duties, show cause notice was served to ZEO Ramnagar for clarifying the position supported with justified reason by tomorrow positively. Besides, the ZEO Ramnagar, Headmaster HS Bainsta was also unable to provide the required factual data to the visiting officer, for which he was also directed to explain his position.
